Beginner Watercolour Lessons with Melinda Calway

- Colour theory and how to mix colours
- Watercolour techniques – washes, glazes, wet into wet, dry brush, masking fluid, etc.
- Composition of a good painting

Watercolour Lessons with Maurice Snelgrove
“Give yourself a break from the cares of the world… indulge your artistic side, learn some basic skills or build on those you already have.”
Basic watercolour techniques applied to a variety of subject matter: still life, landscape, figures, etc. More advanced subjects may be painted from life, photographs, or imagination. Can accomodate varying levels of learners. Critiquing at the end of each class.

Drawing Lessons with Dianne Richardson
In this 5-week course, students will be using a variety of drawing materials to work through
a series of exercises designed to develop drawing and observational skills. Great for beginners!

Watercolour Workshop with Atanur Dogan
“In 2004, the Portrait Society of Canada selected Atanur Dogan, as one of five portrait artists, deemed best in the world”
Workshop details:
- demonstration of portrait/landscape watercolour painting.
- demonstration of watercolour techniques.
- a chance to paint your own art with Atanur’s assistance.
